The Groton Inn and Groton’s NOA Gallery have collaborated to present 50+ works of fine art by local artists in our lobby and main hallway. This rotating collection is part of our shared vision to create a venue for New England artists to show and sell their work and to help support Groton as an arts destination. Our gallery is open to guests of the Inn, but otherwise by appointment only.
NOA Gallery at The Groton Inn offers a 20-minute art tour for groups of 4 or more. Joni Parker-Roach, owner and Curator of the NOA Gallery at The Groton Inn, will guide the group through the collection, offering commentary on the artists, the individual pieces and the techniques used to create the art.
Sixteen years ago, NOA Gallery opened in a charming historical building on Main Street in the Center of Groton. In addition to hosting art openings and featured artists, the gallery has been the driving force behind public art projects including murals and sculpture and, for many years, coordinated a local Art Walk, and more. In 2006, NOA opened a school offering art instruction for all ages. In 2018, we have added the title, curator of the “Gallery by NOA at the Groton Inn”.
